Prevention Makes Cents can bring Parenting Programs to your school or organization and are facilitated by one of our trained parent educators. Our trained program facilitators can bring personal safety and parent programming to your school or organization.

Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Project

Prevention Makes Cents offers the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Project. This international program based on the empowerment theory that all children have the right to be SAFE, STRONG & FREE from potentially dangerous situations. CAP provides education for parents, school personnel and students from preschool to grade 5. Workshop covers topics including bullying, abduction and uncomfortable touch. www.internationalcap.org

Workshops
Prevention Makes Cents offers topic related workshops for parents, professionals and the community such as Child Abuse Awareness, Communication & Zero-Three Curriculum. Prevention Makes Cents can either tailor a workshop to fit your needs or through our collaborative relationships find the right workshop for you. Children have the opportunity to review program information with a trained CAP facilitator.
Active Parenting

A psycho-educational program offered by a trained facilitator. The sessions are video-based with group discussion and hands-on activities. Available are NOW, for ages 5-12 in English & Spanish; Teen for ages 12-18 ; Parents On Board geared towards K-5 parents to help increase children’s school success.

Parenting Journey
A twelve week, 2-hour self-reflective program helping parents explore how their childhood may be impacting their parenting today.
